      Dr. Tharmaraj, who is the one, lifted us from our hard time. Our Correspondent Mr. S. Selvaraj was started the school in the year 1994 June 3rd with the help of his wife Mrs. Queens Mary Selvaraj. At that time, Dr. Anbu Malar Tharmaraj opened this school with 14 students. Our Correspondent Mr. S. Selvaraj B.A, B.Ed, D.Pharm show motherly love , give fatherly confidence, his endless care, guidance and support prove that he is a great leader. Our beloved Madam Mrs. Queens Mary M.A, B.Ed, B.T Assistant Teacher, She worked very hard during the period when the school started. She worked tirelessly and was affectionate with all children. If it wasn’t for her hard work when the school started, the school wouldn’t exist today. She has been a strong pillar of support and motivator of our school.

      Queens Matriculation School in Poolangulam has expanded its infrastructure over the years to accommodate a growing student population. As of March 2025, the school offers classes from Pre-KG to 10th standard, serving 341 students with 19 teaching staff and 5 non-teaching staff. The campus includes 20 classrooms, all in good condition, along with additional rooms for non-teaching purposes. The school is committed to providing a conducive learning environment, featuring facilities such as a well-maintained campus, a computer lab powered by Google Workspace, a well-stocked library, and a science laboratory for conducting experiments. These resources support the institution's mission to offer quality education and holistic development opportunities to its students.

Students are encouraged to participate in district-level sports competitions.​ Queensms Cultural Activities: Students are organized into four houses—Gold, Pearl, Emerald, and Diamond—each led by captains and prefects to foster leadership and teamwork. The school celebrates various cultural and national events, including Kamarajar’s Birthday, Independence Day, Children’s Day, Christmas, and Pongal, providing a well-rounded educational experience.​ Support Facilities: Transportation: The school provides transport facilities to ensure safe and convenient travel for students.​ Queensms Hygiene and Safety: The campus is maintained in a clean and hygienic condition, with purified water available.
